(While making the process fun at the same time.) Here’s how to contact Shelly.
For more than 12 years, Shelly Bowen has led teams of web writers and creatives to develop websites and interactive online content that drive results. From VP of Content of RealAge, a health media company, to Principal Web Editor at Intuit’s TurboTax, to starting Pybop, Shelly’s passion is working with innovative businesses that are doing some amazing things for people and planet.
Shelly was also an editor of professional and children’s books for a world-renowned, international publisher and holds an MFA in creative writing and a BA in English. In 2011, she started a pet project Red Piggy Press, a children’s book app publisher, in order to dive into mobile content more deeply — and to create smart books for even smarter kids. She also frequently volunteers to help other entrepreneurs, writers, and editors with their startups and small businesses. As often as possible, she travels, rides her bike, draws, sews plushies and purses, kayaks, hikes, and reads anything she gets her hands on.
